Godawari Power expands iron ore pelletization capacity to 4.7 MTPA

Godawari Power & Ispat Limited has received "Consent to Operate" for the expansion of its Iron Ore Pelletization Plant, increasing its capacity from 2.7 Million Tones Per Annum (MTPA) to 4.7 MTPA. The approval for an additional 2 MTPA was granted by the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board via a letter dated December 3, 2025.

The company has initiated operations at the expanded pellet plant on the same day the consent was received. Commercial production is anticipated to commence within a week, with subsequent intimation to the stock exchanges regarding the commercial operations. This expansion boosts the company's total pellet manufacturing capacity to 4.7 MTPA.
