ZF Steering Gear India shareholders approve reclassification of three promoters

On December 2, 2025, ZF Steering Gear (India) Ltd. informed the BSE that its shareholders approved the reclassification of Mrs. Amita Jinendra Munot, Mr. Piyush Jinendra Munot, and Mr. Yash Munot from the "Promoter/Promoter Group" category to "Public Shareholder(s)." This reclassification, approved via a postal ballot on November 30, 2025, was conducted in accordance with SEBI regulations.

Prior to reclassification, Mrs. Amita Jinendra Munot held 147,215 equity shares (1.62% of paid-up equity capital), Mr. Piyush Jinendra Munot held 116,235 shares (1.28%), and Mr. Yash Munot held 112,350 shares (1.24%). Post-reclassification, these individuals will no longer be reported as part of the promoter group in future shareholding patterns.

The ordinary resolution for this reclassification received overwhelming shareholder support, with 5,048,215 votes (99.97%) cast in favour and 1,317 votes (0.03%) against. Following this change, the total promoter and promoter group shareholding in the company will decrease from 62.79% to 5,696,783 shares, while the public shareholding will increase to 3,376,517 shares, representing 37.21% of the total paid-up equity capital.
