Sun Pharma unit to invest INR 3,000 crores in new facility

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited announced on December 2, 2025, that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sun Pharma Laboratories Limited, has approved a substantial investment of INR 3,000 crores. This capital will be utilized for establishing a new greenfield formulations manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.

The decision was communicated as an intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Anoop Anjanikumar Deshpande, company secretary and compliance officer, confirmed the approval.

This strategic move underscores Sun Pharma's commitment to expanding its manufacturing footprint and enhancing its production capacities for pharmaceutical formulations.
