REC appoints Hemant Kumar as executive director

REC Limited, a Government of India enterprise and Maharatna Company, has announced a change in its senior management. Hemant Kumar has been promoted to executive director, a position one level below the Board of Directors, effective December 2, 2025, subject to the assumption of charge.

Kumar brings a strong academic and professional background to his new role, holding a bachelor's degree in science (physics hons.) and a master's degree in finance. Prior to this promotion, Kumar served as the chief general manager of finance & accounts within REC. The company clarified there are no relationships between directors to disclose concerning this appointment.

This intimation was made pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and was signed by Dinesh Garg, company secretary & compliance officer.
