Gujarat State Petronet names Lokesh Agarwal new CFO

Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) has announced the appointment of Lokesh Agarwal as the new chief financial officer (CFO) and key managerial personnel (KMP) of the company, effective December 2, 2025. Agarwal, 51, brings over 28 years of experience, holding qualifications including B.Com, LL.B, CA, CS, and CMA. He was previously associated with Westrock India Pvt. Ltd. as director – finance.

Concurrently, Amit Shah has ceased to be the interim CFO and KMP of GSPL, effective December 2, 2025. Shah, 46, an MBA and B.E. (Instrumentation) with over 22 years of experience, had been serving as interim CFO and KMP since August 12, 2025. He has been with GSPL since June 2003, working as a senior manager in the F&A department.

These changes are in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and the SEBI Master Circular dated November 11, 2024. These appointments and cessations were further detailed in the company's prior communication dated August 12, 2025, which also included the appointment of secretarial auditors and a cost auditor for the financial year 2025-2026.
