Viceroy hotels expands portfolio with Hyderabad acquisition, appoints new director

Viceroy Hotels Limited announced on December 1, 2025, the appointment of Vaishnavi Nalabala as an additional director in the independent category, effective the same day. Nalabala brings over seven years of experience in risk advisory, strategic operations, and business management, holding an MBA with dual specialization in finance and marketing. She will also serve as chairperson of the nomination and remuneration committee, chairperson of the corporate social responsibility committee, and as a member of the audit committee and stakeholders relationship committee.

In a significant strategic move, Viceroy Hotels will acquire SLN Terminus Hotels and Resorts Private Limited for a total consideration of INR 2,06,00,00,000. This acquisition includes the purchase of land, inter-corporate loans to repay debt, and the acquisition of equity and preference shares. SLN Terminus Hotels operates a Marriott-associated hotel in Hyderabad and generated a turnover of INR 4345.21 lakhs with a profit after tax of INR 598.39 lakhs and net worth of INR 864.32 lakhs for FY 2024-2025.

The acquisition is considered a related party transaction, as S. Prabhaker Reddy, a director at Viceroy Hotels, is also the managing director and shareholder of SLN Terminus Hotels. The transaction was conducted at arm's length based on valuation reports. This expansion is expected to enhance revenue growth and profitability, aligning with Viceroy Hotels' existing operations.
