Sayaji Hotels promoter pledges more shares

Sayaji Hotels Limited announced on November 29, 2025, that promoter Raoof Razak Dhanani pledged an additional 300,000 equity shares in favor of Swan Finance Limited. These shares represent 1.71% of the total paid-up share capital of Sayaji Hotels Limited. This new encumbrance increases the total pledged shares by Raoof Razak Dhanani to 1,275,000 equity shares, constituting 7.27% of the company's total share capital.

Previously, on March 31, 2017, Raoof Razak Dhanani had already pledged 975,000 shares, representing 5.56% of the total share capital, in favor of State Bank of India as a guarantee for working capital and term loans, with an amount involved of Rs. 22.5 Crores. The new pledge, dated November 26, 2025, involves no direct money and is solely for the purpose of a guarantee.

Following this latest transaction, the total encumbered shares held by Raoof Razak Dhanani now account for 83.46% of his total promoter shareholding of 1,527,630 shares, or 8.7204% of the total share capital. The closing price of the shares on the date of the new event was Rs. 298.20 per share.
