REC appoints Dinesh Garg as new company secretary

REC Limited informed stock exchanges on December 1, 2025, about a change in its senior management, specifically concerning positions one level below the Board of Directors. J.S. Amitabh's tenure as company secretary and compliance officer ceased on December 1, 2025, due to superannuation.

Concurrently, Dinesh Garg has been appointed as the new company secretary and compliance officer, effective December 1, 2025. Garg holds a commerce and law degree from Delhi University and is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He also holds master's degrees in law and business administration (finance).

With over two decades of professional experience in both public and private sector organizations, Garg is recognized for his pivotal role in corporate governance, board administration, regulatory and statutory compliance, public issues, and stakeholder management.
