Punjab National Bank announces senior management reshuffle, new chief risk officer

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced key changes to its senior management, effective December 1, 2025. Pratap Keshari Mallick has been appointed as the new group chief risk officer (GCRO). Mallick, who previously served as general manager of integrated risk management division, brings 19 years of banking experience.

Additionally, Surindar Pal Singh has been elevated to chief general manager, BA & RM division, from his previous role as general manager within the same division. Singh has over 23 years of banking experience.

The bank also announced a change in designation for Vinish Kumar Chawla, who is now zonal manager-general manager, Zonal Office Ahemdabad, transitioning from zonal manager (designated), DGM. Chawla has more than 31 years of banking experience. Furthermore, Sanjay Varshneya, chief general manager, financial inclusion division, head office, will be vacating his office due to superannuation.
