MedPlus subsidiary faces two-day drug license suspension

MedPlus Health Services Limited announced on November 30, 2025, that its subsidiary, Optival Health Solutions Private Limited, received a two-day suspension of a drug license for a store in Medipally Uppal, Telangana. The order, received on November 29, 2025, from the assistant director, Drugs Control Administration, Shameerpet, Telangana, cited a violation under Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.

The company estimates a potential revenue loss of approximately Rs 1.43 lacs due to this suspension. This update was made pursuant to SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023, and SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-2/CIR/P/2024/185 dated December 31, 2024.
