Dollar Industries receives tax demand, plans appeal

Dollar Industries Limited, a manufacturer of hosiery and apparel, disclosed that it received a demand order from the Office of the Commercial Tax Officer under the Central Goods and Service Tax Act 2017. The order, dated November 28, 2025, concerns a demand related to input tax credit (ITC) availed and discrepancies claimed by the GST authority.

The financial impact of the demand, which includes GST, interest, and penalties, is specified as Rs. 10.95 lakhs. The company stated that this demand will not have a material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities.

Dollar Industries plans to appeal the order to the Commissioner Appeals-GST Appellate Authority, in accordance with the GST Act. This disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
