DIC India files execution petition for arbitration award

DIC India Limited announced today that it has filed an execution petition under Section 36 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, against Agam Agochars Private Limited ("Agam"). This action follows an Interim Award dated August 20, 2025, granted in favor of DIC India. The petition was filed before the District Commercial Court, Jaipur.

The awarded reliefs include INR 2,08,90,357 for admitted outstanding dues, INR 1,27,11,323 in interest compounded monthly at 18% until the Statement of Claim filing, and pendente-lite and future simple interest at 6% on the principal sum. This future interest is calculated from the Statement of Claim filing date until actual payment, amounting to INR 8,92,848 as of November 21, 2025.
