Tata Technologies appoints Uttam Gujrati as new CFO

Tata Technologies announced the appointment of Uttam Gujrati as its new chief financial officer and key managerial personnel, effective December 31, 2025. This appointment follows the resignation of Savitha Balachandran, who will depart on December 30, 2025, to pursue external opportunities. The board of directors noted and approved these changes during its meeting on November 28, 2025, with Gujrati’s appointment recommended by both the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee.

Gujrati brings over 20 years of experience in strategic finance, M&A, pricing, and business transformation within global engineering and technology services. His prior roles include heading global business finance and strategy, driving IPO readiness, and leading digital finance modernization. He has also served in CXO-level positions, including chief financial officer, where he established governance foundations and led audit readiness initiatives.

The company's MD & CEO, Warren Harris, acknowledged Balachandran's contributions, particularly during the public issue phase, and expressed confidence in Gujrati's ability to add significant value during this pivotal stage for Tata Technologies. The company stated that the transition is expected to be seamless, with no material impact on financial reporting or internal controls.
