Jindal Cement increases stake in Jindal Steel

On November 25, 2025, Jindal Cement Industries Private Limited, formerly known as Jindal Panther Cement Private Limited, disclosed an acquisition of 497,337 shares in Jindal Steel Limited. This transaction, executed via the open market on November 21, 2025, increased Jindal Cement Industries' total voting rights in Jindal Steel Limited from 0.08% to 0.13%.

Before the acquisition, Jindal Cement Industries held 837,053 shares, representing 0.08% of Jindal Steel's total share capital. Following the acquisition, their total holding rose to 1,334,390 shares, constituting 0.13% of the total diluted share/voting capital. The equity share capital of Jindal Steel Limited remains at INR 1,02,00,88,097, comprising 1,02,00,88,097 equity shares of INR 1 each.

Jindal Cement Industries Private Limited is part of the promoter group of Jindal Steel Limited. The disclosure was made under Regulation 29(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
