Emkay Global names Ajay Mahajan independent director

Emkay Global Financial Services Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Ajay Mahajan as an additional director, designated as an independent director, effective December 1, 2025. This appointment follows the recommendation of the nomination, remuneration and compensation committee and approval by the board of directors. Mr. Mahajan's term is set for five consecutive years, concluding on November 30, 2030, pending shareholder approval.

Mr. Mahajan brings over three decades of experience across various financial sectors, including commercial and wholesale banking, financial markets, credit ratings, and fintech. He holds a bachelor's in engineering, an MBA, and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) from the US CFA Institute. He currently serves on the boards of several companies, including ASK Asset Management Private Limited and Finlabs India Private Limited. The company confirmed that Mr. Mahajan is not debarred by SEBI or any other authority from holding a directorship and is unrelated to any existing director of Emkay Global Financial Services.
