Karur Vysya Bank expands branch network to 898

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) inaugurated two new branches on November 27, 2025, expanding its all-India branch network to 898. A new branch opened in Melapalayam, Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu, with the ceremony graced by local dignitaries. Simultaneously, KVB established another new branch at Sarpavaram Junction in Kakinada district, Andhra Pradesh, attended by the superintendent of police, Kakinada, and other notable guests. These expansions are part of KVB's strategic commitment to strengthening its presence and driving financial inclusion in potential markets.

The new branches will offer comprehensive banking services, including accounts, deposits, and loans, catering to retail, institutional, and consumer lending needs. KVB also emphasized its robust digital solutions, such as the KVB DLite Mobile Banking app, which provides over 150 financial and non-financial services. The bank’s total business stood at Rs. 2,03,216 crore as of September 30, 2025, with a deposit base of Rs. 1,10,492 crore and advances of Rs. 92,724 crore. Net profit for Q2 FY26 was Rs. 574 crore, and Net NPA was 0.19%.
