Adani Wilmar seeks reclassification of over 200 promoter group entities

Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL) announced on November 27, 2025, that it has applied to both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited for the reclassification of 218 entities from its 'Promoter and Promoter Group' to the 'Public category'. This application was made under Regulation 31A of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations), 2015.

The list of entities seeking reclassification includes various Adani Group companies such as Adani Commodities LLP, Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani Aerospace and Defence Limited, Adani Agri Fresh Limited, and Adani Airport Holdings Limited, among many others. The extensive list covers diverse sectors, from cementation and data networks to infrastructure, energy, and logistics.

This strategic move, initially disclosed on November 24, 2025, signifies a substantial change in the ownership structure of Adani Wilmar Limited, potentially broadening its public shareholding base.
