Thermax wins major boiler order from Dangote in Nigeria

Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions Limited (TBWES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thermax, has secured an order valued at more than Rs. 580 crore from Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise in Nigeria. This order involves the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and supply of four 400 TPH oil & gas fired bi-drum boilers, including plug-and-play modules, with supervision for construction and commissioning.

The delivery period for this international contract is 22 months. This new order builds upon a long-standing partnership, following a 2017 contract to supply boilers, HRSGs, and flue gas steam generators for Dangote’s refinery project.

This contract reflects Dangote's continued trust in Thermax's expertise, quality standards, and ability to execute complex projects, further supporting Africa's energy independence and security. The order is not considered a related party transaction.
