Info Edge to invest 75 crore rupees in wholly-owned subsidiaries

On November 26, 2025, Info Edge (India) Limited's committee of executive directors approved investments totaling 75 crore rupees into its wholly-owned subsidiaries. Smartweb Internet Services Limited ("Smartweb") will receive 5 crore rupees through the acquisition of 5,00,000 Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs) with a face value of 100 rupees each. This investment aims to meet Smartweb’s funding requirements and enhance its financial strength. Smartweb, incorporated on September 23, 2015, reported a turnover of 41.39 crore rupees and a net worth of 60.91 crore rupees as of March 31, 2025. It provides internet services and acts as an investment advisor.

Additionally, Startup Investments (Holding) Limited ("SIHL") will receive approximately 70 crore rupees through the acquisition of 2,916,666 CCDs, each priced at 240 rupees, including a premium of 140 rupees. SIHL, incorporated on March 4, 2015, focuses on direct or indirect investments in tech companies and related activities, including investment in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). As of March 31, 2025, SIHL reported a PAT of 0.86 crore rupees and a net worth of (209.50) crore rupees. This investment will enable SIHL to explore new investment opportunities and contribute to AIFs. Both transactions are considered related party transactions and are conducted at arm's length.
