Cyient DLM appoints former defense secretary giridhar aramane as independent director

Cyient DLM Limited has announced the appointment of Giridhar Aramane as a non-executive, independent director, effective November 26, 2025. This appointment, recommended by the nomination and remuneration committee, is for a term of three years, pending approval from shareholders. The decision was formally approved by the board on November 26, 2025.

Mr. Aramane brings extensive experience from his 32-year tenure in the Indian Administrative Service, having served as defense secretary from November 1, 2022, until his retirement on October 31, 2024. His career includes significant portfolios in both the state government of Andhra Pradesh and the central government, notably handling cabinet affairs as additional secretary in the cabinet secretariat.

Cyient DLM confirmed that Mr. Aramane has no relation to any existing directors, key managerial personnel, promoters, or the promoter group of the company. Furthermore, he is not debarred from holding a directorship by any SEBI order or other authority.
