Visaka Industries wins ₹68.73 crore in cricket association dispute

Visaka Industries Limited has secured a favorable ruling from the Commercial Court, Hyderabad, allowing its Execution Petition (E.P.) against the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). The petition sought the realization of an amount previously awarded to Visaka Industries by an Arbitral Tribunal.

The Commercial Court has directed HCA to deposit ₹68.73 crores into its bank account. Should HCA fail to comply, Canara Bank, acting as the garnishee, is mandated to transfer the attached amount of ₹68.73 crores within three weeks from November 24, 2025. Following the deposit, Visaka Industries plans to file a cheque petition to fully realize the funds.

This development builds on previous intimations dated September 29, 2023, June 26, 2025, and October 7, 2025. The company received the online copy of the final order on November 25, 2025, marking a significant step towards resolving the long-standing legal dispute.
