TV Today Network to sell FM radio business to Abhijit Realtors

TV Today Network Limited announced its decision to sell its FM radio broadcasting operations, encompassing three stations in Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata operating at 104.8 FM, to Abhijit Realtors and Infraventures Private Limited. This strategic move, approved by the special committee of directors on November 25, 2025, aims to allow the company to focus on its core business areas. The transaction, valued at INR 10 Crores plus applicable taxes, will involve an initial payment of INR 5 Crores plus taxes upon MOU execution, with the balance due within three months of signing.

The sale will be executed through Vibgyor Broadcasting Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TV Today Network. While the transaction between Abhijit Realtors and the company or Vibgyor is not a related party transaction, the transfer of the radio business from TV Today Network to Vibgyor will be treated as an arm's length related party transaction. The deal is contingent on fulfilling contractual obligations and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The radio business contributed 1.41% to TV Today Network's total turnover in FY 2024-25, amounting to INR 14.16 Crore, and incurred a net worth loss of INR 10.54 Crores for the same period. The completion of the sale is expected by May 31, 2026, though this timeline can be extended if mutually agreed upon. This divestment will not result in any changes to the shareholding pattern of TV Today Network.
