Jindal Cement increases stake in Jindal Steel

Jindal Cement Industries Private Limited, formerly Jindal Panther Cement Private Limited, has acquired 28,526 shares in Jindal Steel Limited, previously Jindal Steel & Power Limited, through an open market transaction on November 20, 2025.

Following this acquisition, Jindal Cement Industries' holding in Jindal Steel rose from 808,527 shares to 837,053 shares. This represents a consistent 0.08% of Jindal Steel Limited's total share/voting capital both before and after the transaction. Jindal Cement Industries is part of the promoter group of the target company.

The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 29(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, and submitted to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. The total equity share capital of Jindal Steel Limited remains at INR 1,02,00,88,097, comprising 1,02,00,88,097 equity shares of INR 1 each.
