Indraprastha Gas forms joint venture for biofuel projects

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has entered into a joint venture agreement with CEID Consultants & Engineering Private Limited (CEID) to establish compressed bio gas plant/biofuel projects. This agreement, formalized on November 25, 2025, signifies IGL's expansion into the renewable energy sector.

The joint venture will have equal equity participation from both partners, with IGL and CEID each holding a 50% stake. The board of directors for the new venture will initially comprise four directors, with two nominated by each party, ensuring balanced governance.

The company's compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, confirms that this transaction is not a related party transaction and maintains an "arm's length" basis. This strategic move highlights IGL's commitment to diversifying its energy portfolio.
