Central Bank of India appoints E. Ratan Kumar as executive director

Central Bank of India announced the appointment of E. Ratan Kumar as an executive director on its board, effective November 24, 2025. This appointment, made by the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, is for a period of three years or until further orders.

E. Ratan Kumar holds a B.E. (Computer Science), an M. Tech, and a Master of Financial Management. He began his banking career in 1997 with Central Bank of India and brings over 35 years of diversified experience across banking and IT sectors. His previous roles include senior regional manager in Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar regions, and zonal manager for the Hyderabad Zone.

Prior to this appointment, E. Ratan Kumar served as chief general manager of Central Bank of India from June 1, 2025, until November 24, 2025. This disclosure complies with Regulation 30 & 51 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
