Bank of India names Pramod Kumar Dwibedi executive director

Bank of India announced the appointment of Pramod Kumar Dwibedi as an executive director on its board, effective November 24, 2025. This appointment was made by the central government via a notification dated November 24, 2025, and Dwibedi assumed charge yesterday. He will hold the office until his superannuation on June 30, 2028, or until further orders.

Dwibedi, 57, is a postgraduate in economics and MBA (finance) and began his banking career in 1995 as a probationary officer. He is a certified associate member of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and holds certifications in IT and cyber security from IDRBT, and risk management from the Institute of Risk Management, London. His career spans over 30 years, during which he has worked across various banking operations, administrative offices, and geographical locations, including abroad.

Throughout his career, Dwibedi has focused on widening relationships with corporate customers, particularly mid corporate and MSME segments. He has held significant roles such as general manager, FGMO Bhopal, and chief general manager, FCGMO Pune, where he implemented structural and cultural upgrades, emphasizing micro, small & medium enterprises, food & agro, and agriculture infra for business development. He is not related to other directors of the bank nor debarred by any SEBI order.
