Abbott India announces senior management transition

Abbott India Limited announced that Rajan Kalantre, director, business human resources, will transition to another Abbott affiliate, effective December 16, 2025. Kalantre will cease to be a senior management personnel of Abbott India Limited at the close of business hours on December 15, 2025, due to an international assignment within the Abbott organization.

Following Kalantre's departure, Vinutha Mufti has been appointed as director, business human resources, effective December 16, 2025. Mufti, who is not related to any other directors or key managerial personnel, will also be considered senior management personnel of the company. She brings over two decades of diverse HR experience, having held progressively senior roles within Abbott's pharmaceuticals and nutrition businesses since joining in 2015.

Mufti's career includes leadership positions as head – BHR for Abbott's primary care business and director – BHR for the specialty care business. Prior to Abbott, she spent a decade at IBM in HRBP and talent management roles. She holds a B.E. in electronics and telecommunication and a PGDBM in management.
