LIC increases stake in Voltas through open market purchases

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has disclosed a substantial acquisition of shares in Voltas Limited. The acquisition took place between September 25, 2025, and November 21, 2025, through open market purchases.

Before the recent acquisition, LIC held 16,710,784 shares, representing 5.050% of Voltas Limited's total share and voting capital. The latest transaction involved the acquisition of an additional 6,744,990 shares, increasing LIC's holding by 2.038%.

Following this market purchase, LIC's total shareholding in Voltas Limited now stands at 23,455,774 shares, which accounts for 7.089% of the company's equity share capital and total voting capital.
