HDFC Mutual Fund boosts stake in Varroc Engineering to 7.21%

HDFC Mutual Fund's schemes have raised their aggregate holding in Varroc Engineering Limited to 7.21% of the paid-up equity share capital as of November 21, 2025. This marks a 2.18% increase from their previous holding of 5.03% reported on January 15, 2025. The acquisition involved 3,334,601 shares carrying voting rights through the open market.

The total paid-up equity share capital of Varroc Engineering Limited remains at Rs. 15,27,86,400, comprising 152,786,400 equity shares of Rs. 1/- each. This disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 29(2) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.

The HDFC Mutual Fund schemes involved include HDFC BSE 500 ETF, HDFC BSE 500 Index Fund, HDFC Flexi Cap Fund, HDFC Multi Cap Fund, and HDFC Transportation and Logistics Fund. HDFC Asset Management Company Limited manages these investments.
