AU Small Finance Bank strengthens board with new independent director appointments

AU Small Finance Bank's board of directors approved the appointment of Narasinganallore Venkatesh Srinivasan and Satyajit Dwivedi as non-executive independent directors for a three-year term each. These appointments are subject to shareholder approval.

The board also confirmed the re-appointment of Malini Thadani as a non-executive independent director for a second three-year term, also effective November 25, 2025, and pending shareholder approval.

The bank confirmed that all three individuals are not debarred from holding director positions by any SEBI order or disqualified under Section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Srinivasan brings extensive experience as a chartered accountant with a background in risk management and treasury operations. Dwivedi is noted for his expertise in development finance, particularly in agriculture and the rural economy. Thadani, re-appointed for a second term, contributes significantly with her knowledge in sustainability, CSR, ESG, and risk management.
