Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works sees strong H1 FY26 growth, boosted by new orders

KMEW announced unaudited consolidated financial results for H1 FY26, with revenue from operations reaching ₹9,864.80 lakhs, up from ₹9,562.80 lakhs in H1 FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) for H1 FY26 was ₹2,246.45 lakhs, maintaining strong PAT margins of 22.77%. The company also achieved sustainable EBITDA margins of approximately 40%.

The strong performance is attributed to key achievements in H1 FY26, including raising ₹285 Crores through a preferential issue and securing two major Green Tug contracts totaling Rs.652.63 Crores from VOC Port and Visakhapatnam Port Authority, each with a 15-year tenure. KMEW also achieved 7 significant order wins totaling Rs.968.69 Crores and expanded into commercial cruise services and new geographic regions like Pondicherry and Madhya Pradesh.

KMEW’s order book includes significant dredging projects, charter hire projects, and shipbuilding projects. Notable shipbuilding orders include the procurement of 24 Dredger Ancillary Units for Inland Waterway Authority of India (IWAI) valued at Rs.195 Cr, with delivery timelines of 14-24 months. The company's total outstanding balance contract value as of September 30, 2025, across all segments stands at ₹175,000 lakhs.
