Urja Global forms JV for solar PV module manufacturing, distribution

Urja Global Ltd. has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Solarmint Energies Pvt Ltd (formerly Sun N Sand Exim India Pvt Ltd) on November 20, 2025. This collaboration establishes a strategic partnership to engage in the manufacturing, branding, marketing, and nationwide distribution of solar PV modules under the URJA brand. The venture will combine Solarmint's manufacturing expertise with Urja Global's market reach, brand strength, and sales network.

The agreement specifies that Solarmint will manufacture URJA-branded solar panels, while Urja Global will handle nationwide marketing, sales, and distribution. Pricing for the products will be determined on a cost + profit basis. The agreement is valid for three years and may be renewed or extended upon mutual agreement.

According to the disclosure, there is no shareholding by Urja Global in Solarmint Energies Pvt Ltd, and the parties involved are not related to promoters or promoter groups. The transaction does not constitute a related party transaction and the execution of this agreement will not result in any change in the management or control of Urja Global.
