RMC Switchgears secures significant power transmission contract

RMC Switchgears Limited announced the receipt of a letter of intent (LOI) valued at INR 27,77,69,586.82 from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. The contract involves the construction of a 132 kV GSS, KAPARDA SEZ (District Jodhpur), along with associated lines including the LILO of the 132 kV S/C Bilara-Jhalamand Line to GSS, KAPARDA SEZ, and the 132 kV S/C Bhawad-Kirmarsariya Line.

The scope of work for the domestic entity includes the supply of all equipment (excluding power transformers), erection, civil works, testing, and commissioning. This comprehensive supply, erection, testing & commissioning (ETC) contract is expected to be executed within 18 months.

The company anticipates that this new LOI will positively contribute to its revenue and growth prospects, strengthening its current order book.
