Rail Vikas Nigam wins $21.6m North Eastern Railway contract

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a contract from North Eastern Railway. The project, valued at INR 1,80,77,92,324.55, involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of OHE modification and feeder wire work for a 2x25 kV traction system. This system aims to upgrade the capacity of the UTR-MWP section, covering 184 RKM (368 TKM).

The contract is a normal course of business for RVNL. The execution period for this project is set for 24 months.

RVNL communicated this development through a regulatory filing, confirming the company's continued involvement in major railway infrastructure projects.
