Jindal Cement increases stake in Jindal Steel through open market buy

Jindal Cement Industries Private Limited, a promoter group entity of Jindal Steel Limited, has disclosed an acquisition of 188,983 equity shares in Jindal Steel Limited. The acquisition took place on November 18, 2025, through an open market transaction.

Prior to this acquisition, Jindal Cement Industries held 502,954 shares, representing 0.049% of the total share capital. Following the purchase, its holding has increased to 691,937 shares, bringing its stake to 0.068% of the total share and voting capital of Jindal Steel Limited.

The total diluted share/voting capital of Jindal Steel Limited remains Rs. 1,02,00,88,097/-, comprising 1,02,00,88,097 equity shares of Re. 1/- each, both before and after the acquisition.
