H.G. Infra Engineering JV wins significant metro rail project in Maharashtra

H.G. Infra Engineering Limited (HGINFRA), in a joint venture with Kalpataru Projects International Limited, has been awarded the L-1 bidder status by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited for a major infrastructure project. HGINFRA holds a 40% share in the joint venture.

The project involves the design and construction of an elevated metro viaduct, stretching 20.527 kilometers, between UG Ramp and Balkum Naka. This includes the Depot Approach Viaduct and three special spans for the Thane Integral Ring Metro Project. The estimated project cost, as per MMRCL, is INR 1424.00 Crore, with the bid project cost (including GST) coming in at INR 1415.00 Crore. The project is expected to be completed within 36 months under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
