Eicher Motors fined for e-waybill mismatch, schedules investor conference

Eicher Motors Limited, an Indian automobile manufacturer, announced on November 21, 2025, that it has received a penalty order amounting to INR 16,54,341 related to an e-waybill discrepancy. The order, issued by the Office of the Assistant Commissioner Jurisdiction, Sector 5 (Mobile Squad), G B Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, cites a mismatch between the goods' unloading place in the e-waybill/e-invoice and the driver's statement. The company stated that, based on its assessment, the demand is not maintainable and is exploring options including filing an appeal, not envisaging a relevant financial or operational impact.

In a separate announcement on the same date, Eicher Motors also disclosed a scheduled conference call with analysts and institutional investors. The company will meet with Schonfeld Strategic Advisors in a one-to-one virtual meeting on November 26, 2025, at 11:30 AM.
