Nestle India appoints Mandeep Chhatwal as additional non-executive director

Nestle India Limited announced the appointment of Mandeep Chhatwal as an additional director (non-executive director), effective January 1, 2026. This decision was made by the board of directors on November 20, 2025, following a recommendation from the nomination and remuneration committee. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval.

Chhatwal brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the finance sector, having held various senior management and top leadership roles within the Nestle Group. He holds a master's degree in business administration from IIM Ahmedabad. His career at Nestle began in 1989 in India, and he has since developed his financial expertise across different markets, transitioning to international roles within the group in 2004.

Currently, Chhatwal serves as the chief financial officer (CFO) for Zone Asia, Oceania & Africa (AOA), based at Nestle's global headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland. His previous roles include CFO of Nestle Sri Lanka, global head of financial services, head of corporate finance & deputy treasurer, and CFO of Nestle Philippines. Since 2021, he has been responsible for the finance function across 112 countries, overseeing strategy, performance management, and financial governance in one of Nestle Group's most diverse regions. Chhatwal is not related to any other director of the company and has affirmed that he is not debarred from holding the office of director.
