Great Eastern Shipping sells product tanker Jag Pooja, adjusts fleet

Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) announced the delivery of its 2005-built medium range product tanker "Jag Pooja" to buyers. This transaction was initially contracted in October 2025 and concludes the sale of the vessel as planned.

Following this transaction, G E Shipping's owned fleet now comprises 40 vessels, totaling 3.32 million deadweight tonnes (dwt). The current fleet includes 26 tankers (6 crude, 16 product, 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax, 2 Supramax).

The company also has further fleet adjustments planned, with a contract to sell one Suezmax crude tanker and purchase one secondhand Ultramax dry bulk carrier. Both these transactions are anticipated to be completed in the second half of fiscal year 2026.
