Tamilnad Mercantile Bank appoints two non-executive directors

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited announced its board meeting outcome on November 19, 2025, during which it approved the appointment of two additional (non-executive non-independent) directors, subject to shareholder approval. S.R. Aravind Kumar and R. Kodeeswaran are appointed for three consecutive years, effective from November 19, 2025.

S.R. Aravind Kumar, an engineer with an MBA in Marketing, brings a strong background in IT and marketing and previously served as a director of the bank from November 2009 to October 2017. R. Kodeeswaran, a postgraduate in commerce, has extensive experience managing diversified business portfolios, including shipping, and currently serves as a director in VVD and Sons Private Limited, leading its export division. Neither appointee is related to any existing director of the bank.

The board confirmed that both individuals are not debarred from holding directorial office by any SEBI order.
