K.P. Energy and Inox Wind partner on 2.5 GW wind projects

K.P. Energy Limited (KPE) and Inox Wind Limited (IWL) have signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid power projects across multiple states in India. This collaboration, announced on November 19, 2025, leverages KPE's expertise in project development, including securing connectivity, land, statutory approvals, and executing Balance of Plant (BoP) and EPC works, as well as managing BoP O&M.

IWL will contribute by supplying Wind Turbine Generators and associated equipment, providing engineering support, and executing pre-commissioning, commissioning, and O&M of wind turbine generators. This integrated approach aims to combine the core competencies of both companies for timely, seamless, and high-quality project execution.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the strategic positioning of both organizations within the renewable energy value chain. KPE gains assured access to IWL's equipment and engineering capabilities, while IWL benefits from KPE's on-ground execution expertise and development track record, enabling both to pursue large-scale renewable opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
