Inox Wind, KP Energy partner on 2.5 GW wind projects

Inox Wind Limited (IWL) has signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KP Energy Limited (KPE) to jointly develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid power projects across multiple states in India. Under the agreement, IWL and its subsidiaries will supply Wind Turbine Generators and associated equipment, provide engineering support, and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, and O&M of the wind turbine generators.

KP Energy will undertake project development activities, including securing connectivity, land, statutory approvals, and executing Balance of Plant (BOP) and EPC works. KPE will also be responsible for the O&M of the BOP. This strategic partnership aims to leverage the complementary strengths of both companies to ensure timely and high-quality project execution, contributing to India's clean-energy transition.

The collaboration will strengthen the market positioning of both organizations, with KPE gaining access to IWL’s equipment and engineering capabilities, while IWL benefits from KPE’s execution expertise and development track record. The combined efforts are expected to pursue large-scale renewable opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
