IndiGo fined ₹2m for Udaipur Airport procedure violation

InterGlobe Aviation Limited received a communication on November 17, 2025, from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, detailing a penalty of ₹2,000,000. This action was taken due to the company's formulation of a Standard Instrument Departure (SID) Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) for Udaipur Airport. Such procedures should have been promulgated by the Airport Authority of India (AAI). This contravention violates Rule 133A of The Aircraft Rules, 1937, along with DGCA CAR 9/EN para nos 2.2 and 2.34.

The company, through its company secretary and chief compliance officer Neerja Sharma, stated that there is no material impact on financials, operations, or other activities of the company as a result of this penalty. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
