RBI appoints Sujatha Jaganathan as additional director at Dhanlaxmi Bank

Dhanlaxmi Bank has announced the appointment of Sujatha Jaganathan, general manager at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), as an additional director on its board. This appointment, made by the RBI, is effective for a two-year term from November 19, 2025, until November 18, 2027, or until further orders. She replaces D.K. Kashyap.

Jaganathan brings over 23 years of experience with the RBI and currently serves as general manager in Thiruvananthapuram. Her extensive background includes work in crucial areas such as currency management, bank supervision, bank regulation, consumer protection, financial inclusion, and human resource management within the central bank.

The appointment is in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Dhanlaxmi Bank confirmed that there is no relationship disclosure with other directors for Jaganathan.
