PI Industries announces CEO resignation, new global head to oversee AgChem Brands

PI Industries Ltd. informed BSE and NSE on November 18, 2025, about the resignation of Prashant Hegde, CEO – AgChem Brands and senior management personnel, effective November 21, 2025, due to personal reasons. The company has accepted his resignation, and he will be relieved from his duties at the close of business hours on the specified date. Mr. Hegde conveyed his resignation via a letter dated November 17, 2025, addressed to Mayank Singhal, vice chairman & managing director.

To ensure strategic continuity, Jagresh Rana, global Ag-CEO, who has extensive involvement in the global and domestic agri-business portfolios, will oversee the AgChem Brands function as an additional responsibility. Mr. Rana is designated as senior management personnel with an effective date of November 22, 2025. He is 55 years old and currently serves as the global head of biologicals business. Mr. Rana holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.Sc. (Ag Hons), bringing over 30 years of experience in the agriculture industry.
