Optiemus Infracom to expand operations, focus on manufacturing

Optiemus Infracom Limited is seeking shareholder approval to amend its Memorandum of Association to expand its main business objects. The proposed special resolution, subject to a postal ballot, will allow the company to engage in manufacturing, assembling, processing, designing, developing, trading, importing, exporting, buying, selling, marketing, and distribution of various electronic products, telecommunication products, appliances, and their components and accessories.

This strategic expansion aims to achieve vertical integration, enhance competitiveness, and boost self-reliance in the supply chain, while leveraging existing distribution and trading networks. It also seeks to promote innovation and contribute to the "Make in India" initiative. The remote e-voting period for this resolution will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. (IST) and conclude on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. (IST).

The results of the postal ballot are expected to be announced on or before Monday, December 22, 2025. Shareholders whose email addresses are registered with the company or depositories as of the cut-off date, November 14, 2025, will be able to cast their votes electronically via the Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) e-voting system.
