Escorts Kubota launches third-generation rice transplanters in seven Indian states

Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) announced on November 18, 2025, the launch of its third-generation Ride-On Rice Transplanters, the KA6 and KA8 models, under the Kubota brand. These new models, engineered in Japan, are designed to enhance productivity, operator comfort, and planting precision for farmers. The transplanters have been introduced in Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Telangana, regions experiencing rising demand for mechanized paddy solutions.

The KA6 and KA8 transplanters are powered by fuel-efficient Kubota engines, delivering 21 and 24 horsepower, respectively. Key features include a smart turning system, automatic lift function for easier cornering, and a multifunction control lever for effortless operation. The horizontal control mechanism ensures uniform planting depth, while redesigned planting claws and an improved New Seedling picking guide contribute to higher accuracy and even seedling placement.

Operator comfort has been prioritized with wider platforms, ergonomic layouts, and LED lights for extended work. The lighter planting section and longer wheelbase enhance stability and make the transplanters suitable for deep wet field conditions, enabling efficient operations even in challenging environments.
