Authum appoints Rajeev RA as independent director

Authum Investment & Infrastructure Limited has announced the appointment of Rajeev RA as a non-executive independent director. This appointment, effective for five consecutive years from October 7, 2025, to October 6, 2030, was approved by shareholders via a special resolution on November 17, 2025.

RA brings extensive experience from his 34-year career as an IAS officer (Indian Administrative Service), Maharashtra cadre, since 1987. His career highlights include 12 years in urban development, four years in environment, and four years in finance at both state and central government levels. Notably, he served as principal secretary in the finance department of Maharashtra and as joint secretary (finance) in the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

His urban development roles include joint municipal commissioner and additional municipal commissioner in Mumbai, and metropolitan commissioner in Mumbai and Thane City. In his last role as head of Mumbai Metropolitan Development Authority, he managed mega infrastructure projects valued at $21.42 bn, including 340 km of metro and the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link. He also raised financial resources totaling $4285m from various agencies.
