Schaeffler India intensifies fight against counterfeit products

Schaeffler India has reinforced its anti-counterfeit measures following extensive enforcement operations conducted on November 4th and 7th, 2025. These raids, executed in collaboration with local authorities in Delhi, targeted five locations, including three wholesale outlets in Kashmiri Gate and two storage units in Priyadarshani Vihar and Old Gupta Colony. The operations resulted in the seizure of thousands of counterfeit FAG wheel and ball bearings, along with fake packaging materials.

The company is urging customers to remain vigilant and verify product authenticity using several key measures. These include unique labelling and code verification via the Schaeffler OriginCheck App, attention to precise branding details, and purchasing exclusively from authorized distribution channels to ensure genuine products.

Schaeffler India reaffirms its commitment to quality and safety, emphasizing that these initiatives are crucial to protect customers from substandard and potentially harmful fake bearings and components. The ongoing efforts are part of a broader strategy to combat trademark misuse and counterfeiting, strengthening trust in its motion technology solutions.
