Rama Steel Tubes: Half-year income up, but net profit falls for period

Rama Steel Tubes Limited reported a total income from operations of ₹60,075.22 Lakhs for the half year ended September 30, 2025, an increase from ₹48,992.50 Lakhs in the prior year's corresponding period. Net profit after tax for the half year fell to ₹602.28 Lakhs, down from ₹1,051.45 Lakhs in the same period last year. Total comprehensive income for the half year reached ₹801.77 Lakhs, compared to ₹1,076.41 Lakhs previously.

For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, the company recorded a total income from operations of ₹32,254.71 Lakhs, a rise from ₹27,234.91 Lakhs in the quarter ended September 30, 2024. Net profit after tax for the quarter was ₹100.78 Lakhs, showing a decrease from ₹431.47 Lakhs in the comparable quarter of the previous year.

The company also noted an allotment of 7,77,77,778 equity shares on September 23, 2025, to non-promoters on a preferential basis, which impacted the basic earnings per equity share for the half year ended September 30, 2025. Reserves (excluding Revaluation Reserve) stood at ₹30,266.81 Lakhs as of September 30, 2025, significantly higher than ₹19,609.37 Lakhs reported on September 30, 2024.
